whoops.

So. I am in no way, shape, or form a Twilight fan. I just never got into the books, nor do I have any real desire to do so. However, when InStyle tweeted this link to check out sketches for Bella's wedding dress, my love of fashion and sheer curiosity won out. Here are how top fashion designer's would dress Bella for her wedding. I love looking at different illustration styles, especially for wedding dresses, because [as I've said before] that is an area I am not so good with.

six, seven, eight, NINE

A new musical movie comes out Christmas Day, and I'm quite intrigued by it. 'NINE'* is a musical I know very little about, other than it was on Broadway, the revival starred Antonio Banderas, and now they have turned it into a star-studded film. According to BroadwayWorld.com, NINE " revolves around one central character, Guido Contini a film director in the Fellini mold. He is contracted to write and direct a film, but is unable to come up with a suitable plot. After recent box office failures, he finds himself drifting towards a nervous breakdown. Guido finds himself examining his past flawed relationships with the many women who have come through his life and the struggle to act his mature age of 40--as opposed to nine. " Starring Daniel-Day Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson, Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren, and Dame Judi Dench, this film sounds like it could have extreme potential. I am going to have to do my homework before I fork out $8.00 to see it though...

the trailer had embedding disabled, but check it out here.

*not to be confused with "9," the animated movie about the end of humanity... :)

hansel&gretel

I love this spread from Vogue, interpreted by Grace Coddington and shot by Annie Leibovitz, all inspired by the Metropolitan Opera's production of "Hansel and Gretel." I love the frocks that 'Gretel' is wearing, and the moody feel of the images. Also loving Lady Gaga as the wicked witch...beautiful spread.

chat stew

"The Soup" is one of my favorite shows on television right now, and the biggest reason for that is Joel McHale. I think he is hilarious. I'm also a fan of his new NBC show, "Community," in which he plays a lawyer who never went to college, and got caught, so he had to head back to community college for his undergrad degree, and obviously, hilarity ensues. These images are from the latest issue of GQ magazine, and Joel is displaying some of the latest fashions for mens suits...
