In completely unrelated events, 'How I Met Your Mother' celebrated it's 100th episode last night, which featured this lovely musical number about Barney and his love for suits. Fabulous.
also, happy birthday to my dad!
Well, I'm not Chuck Bass. But, Ed Westwick plays him on Gossip Girl. And for their March '09 issue, Haper's Bazaar decided to give Ed the spotlight in a fabulous fashion spread. Ed looks dapper in tailored suits and preppy seperates, while the lucky lady he's steaming up the pages with looks sophisticated and playful, with a hint of UES bitch--the kind of girl that Chuck Bass seems to fall for, over and over again. The color scheme of this spread is also perfect for spring--crisp white, pops of color, a touch of nautical. The whole thing has a touch of sweetness, with a dose of naughty. I can't wait to get this issue.
Well, not really a "Dan", but a very dapper looking Brandon Flowers, of 'The Killers' fame from this photo shoot from the Men's branch of Style.com. The accompanying photos and article help give really great info and tips on how to buy a tuxedo, i.e. fit issues, things to look for, collar types, etc... I love the tux's they put on Brandon, they're all very chic and current, with a bit of old Hollywood glamour. They have a dash of James Bond, a bit of Cary Grant, a touch of the Rat Pack thrown in. And clearly, the fit is impeccable.
