The Resort 2011 collections are arriving, and I'm *obsesssssed* with this one from Diane Von Furstenberg. I love the grey mixed with all the bold and pastel colors--in the garments, and then setting. I love that its very casual feeling, but still work appropriate. DVF can do no wrong. 

[I could actually use some of these pieces right now with the heat levels in the city the past couple days. It's h.o.t. outside!]

can't stop won't stop...

...blogging my love for Pencey! I seriously cannot stop gushing about my love for this line! The spring 2011 collection encompasses a free-spirited, easy, breezy chic-ness with just a bit of an edge, and I can't get enough. Another great thing about Pencey{as if you needed another reason to love them.}??? The clothes are just as amazing from the back as they are the front {hellooooo open-back silk sweatshirt!}! A lot of designers, myself included, sometimes forget that the back of a garment should make just as much of a statement as the front, and Pencey consistently ups the ante in that department. 

now if they'd just hurry up and hire me... :) <3

It's barely winter, and I'm already *most* tired of it. I want to go to a rainforest hipster hippie party with this band. It looks like the best way to spend a day away from reality.

I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but lately, I have been all about Alexander McQueen's skull items. I have been wanting a pair of his motorcycle jacket inspired booties since the first time I saw them, but in recent days I've been looking at a lot of the jewelry, and in a perfect world, I'd have it all. :)  I love how he takes a traditionally masculine symbol, and by adding touches of glam, makes it fiercely feminine. I'm obsessed with all the different takes on the moto-boot, too. Studs, sparkles, glitz, and glam--all essential to the McQueen legacy. <3

One of my favorite labels, Pencey, has put their Spring 2010 look-book online, and once again, I'm obsessed. Sporty looks with unexpected elements with feminine details--I am in love. I love the simple color palette allowing it to blend seamlessly with existing wardrobe pieces, yet fun and different enough to really mark the start of the season. Favorite piece: the cut-out shoulder hoodie, it's a must have.
