These images from the New York Times Style magazine interview with Taylor Swift are amazing! They show a completely different look for her, which I adore. They cover the bases of her trademark sparkles, but do it in a mature, sophisticated, but still fun, way. If her music career fades anytime soon, she'd have a fantastic career as a model, these clothes look fabulous on her...

somewhere over the rainbow...
In honor of the 70th Anniversary of one of my favorite movies of all time, "The Wizard of Oz," here are the four main characters re-imagined for a fabulous fashionista and her friends, both by myself and a spread for the NY Post, as well as some recreations of Dorothy's classic ruby red slippers.
Mine are a more costume-y, literal approach to the characters, so I hope they're self-explanatory :)
I'm working on the witches in watercolor, too...I just haven't had time to paint them yet.

stick around summer...
I've been working on my portfolio this week, in hopes I get some leads on a j.o.b. of any kind, and created this mini resort-ish collection that makes me wish summer would stick around just a wee bit longer. At least you can add a fun jacket and some tights to most of these looks and carry them straight into fall...

hermione haute couture
So, I fully intended this post to happen in conjuction with the newest Harry Potter flick being released, but I got side tracked with other things...so here it is now :) I decided to create a mini-collection inspired by Hermione Granger as a stylish alternative to the Hogwarts uniform--because, lets face it, those wizarding robes aren't too chic nor flattering. Obviously these looks could be translated to the muggle world as well...<3
