Happy June, everyone! With the beginning of June here, it means wedding season is upon us. This month GQ gifted us with wedding style for men, and it's modeled by this weeks swoonsday pick: Darren Criss, aka "Blaine" on Glee. :) This U of M alumnus [his biggest flaw imo. ;^)] got his start playing Harry Potter in a student created production of "A Very Potter Musical," and has had success with subsequent projects. This weeks tunesday is, as you could probably guess, another band I'm dying to see at Lollapalooza this year. Super sassy rocker chick, with just as sassy rocker music. Let's hope the scheduling of bands allows it to happen.

Lollapalooza has released its 20th anniversary lineup, and while the headliners don't necessarily scream "20th anniversary" to me, I'm pretty pumped. And theres a TON of supporting acts that I'm super stoked to be checking out. Today's tunesday is one of those bands. A friend at my last internship told me about this band, and I really like what I've heard, and can't wait to see them at Lolla!!!

The weather in NYC is starting to cooperate [maybe?] I'm hoping it stays warm and sunny all weekend so I can spend lots of time outside wandering or socializing on rooftops or sitting in a park somewhere...Happy Friday everyone! <3  

i love the rain...

I love a good thunderstorm, so I'm hoping this mornings rain turns into one by the time I'm ready for bed tonight. I love the smell of rain, especially in the spring. As long as its not snow, I can't complain--I have rain boots and an umbrella ready and waiting. :) Hope you're all staying dry today! <3

I signed up for a free 30 day trial of Netflix, and subsequently have been watching a whole lot of Friday Night Lights. So naturally, this weeks Swoonsday post is all about Dillon Pather #33, Tim Riggins, aka Taylor Kitsch. On-screen he's a womanizer with a good heart who likes to have a good time, and off-screen he's a southern charmer by way of Canada, and is also besties with one of my celeb boyfriends, Chace Crawford :) 

Like they say: Clear eyes, full heart, can't lose... ;)

As my belated blog birthday shout out to Ms. Lady Gaga, I'm sharing the Country Road version of "Born This Way." While the original is amazing in all it's club-beat, dance pop goodness, this honky-tonk version is spot on. If Gaga wanted to do a country album, I'd be ok with it.
