One of my favorite celebrity couples reportedly got hitched last week! A big congrats to Isla Fisher & Sacha Baron Cohen [and their adorable daughter, Olive!] who were married in Paris in a small, private ceremony. Let's hope we get a few pictures in the magazines of the new happy family soon!

3rd rock from the swoon...
Please excuse that bad pun, but these pics should make up for it. Another cutie pie recently featured in GQ, is recent SNL host and star of '500 Days of Summer,' Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This spread was focusing on low-price point, but high-style menswear looks. They hit the nail on the head with these! Featuring items from GAP, Topman, H&M, and Uniqlo, and more, he looks pretty swoonworth, wouldn't you say? :)
check out NBC's website for clips from his SNL hosting gig! Adorable!

i just can't help myself...
Apparently with spring in full bloom, or at least here for the time being, there have been so many photo spreads with cute boys in their best spring fashions, and the new issue of GQ isn't any different. Their cover boy, Zac Efron, steams up this spread, although, not quite as much as his spread from Interview mag, but still. He's doing a wonderful job at shaking more of his HSM/Disney image, and embracing a more grown-up image. I realize Zac may be not everyones cup of tea, but you have to admit, he looks pretty darn good in these shots...and although I do appreciate the lack of shirt he happens to be sporting in the last shot, that is the only image that just doesn't really make sense to me in this set. Maybe they could have just stuck a really great, tailored vest and tie on him, or a deep-v tee? But, who am I to judge, the stylist clearly gets paid to do what they do, and I do not [yet.]. Hope you swoon over these as much as I did!

wax on, wax off...
My newest obsession is "V-Magazine." It's a large format, fancy-schmancy, glossy, fabulous magazine, about fashion, music, and culture. This month's issue even features a glow in the dark cover. One of my favorite spreads from this issue included a model lounging around with celebrities...of the wax variety, that is. She was featured in great spring fashions, posing with some of the most "Americana" figures at the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in Times Square. Madame Tussaud's is one of my favorite tourist destinations when I have to play city guide in NYC. I have some pretty awesome pictures of myself and seen some hilarious ones of my friends 'hanging' out with the best of the best, but I won't bore you with those. Instead, I've posted the V-Mag spread for you to enjoy. Hopefully one day I'll be fabulous enough to count some of these, and other *real* celebs as friends and acquaintances, until then, this spread and Madame Tussaud's will just have to suffice...Tuesday, March 3, 2009
new legends of comedy
This months Vanity Fair features their picks for up & coming comedians, and as the cover story, what better group of people to feature than the Judd Apatow gang, left, and they chose to recreate a Tom Ford photo for their image. I think this picture is hilarious. I have a not-so-secret crush on Jason Segel and Paul Rudd, and tend to love anything they're in/part of. Side note: SO excited for their new movie, I Love You, Man, coming out on March 20th! This spread features some really amazing photos of comedians paying homage to classic comedians, and other figures in pop culture. I only wish they had included something on Andy Samberg/The Lonely Island. That album is one of the funniest things I have ever heard! Enjoy these pictures, hopefully they'll hold you over until the magazine hits the shelves!!
Russel Brand as Charlie Chaplin
Bill Hader, Ana Faris, Jason Bateman, & Leslie Mann as "The Honeymooners"
Jonah Hill as George Washington
Amy Poehler and Will Arnett as Bonnie & Clyde
Jason Segel as Buster Keaton
Seth Rogen as Frida Kahlo
Danny McBride as Jack Nicholson in "The Shining"

Oscar Wrap-Up!
Red Carpet Re-Cap :)
Vanessa Hudgens & Zac Efron
Marchesa dress, Dolce & Gabbana suit
Viola Davis in Reem Acra
[love the dress, color, all of it!]
I like this dress, but theres something about it on her I am not a fan of...
this dress has potential...ditch the belt, and some of the skirt volume maybe?
The dress did have a great back cut-out, though...
Jennifer Aniston looking amazing in Valentino
her simple braided bangs fit her laid-back vibe perfectly
Jessica Biel in Prada
possibly my least favorite look of the evening. Maybe if it was shorter, and she wasn't wearing black, closed-toed mules with it?

Heidi Klum in RM by Rouland Moret
always different, always fabulous-ly dressed...the hair on the other hand, meh.
Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
I want to be her best friend. Must start tailoring my designs to her. :)
