This week's tunesday video is from another band I saw at Lollapalooza, Arcade Fire. My sister has been into them for a while, but I just recently started listening, and I'm so glad I did. They're a pretty uniquely put together band, with an amazing sound. This is one of my favorites of theirs. Enjooooy.

I just bought these shoes. They will be all mine in 5-10 business days. And tickets to see Spring Awakening on tour in Kalamazoo. Good thing I get paid again Monday.

This week's Tunesday is a band I got to check out at Lollapallooza! There was no good vid for the song I really wanted [Janglin'] but this song is equally amazing! Love their hippie vibe and feel good music. Enjoy :)

true blood

I just want to say I am still not into the whole vampire thing. I don't get it. What I DO get is the excellent writing on HBO's 'True Blood.' It took me three tries to make it through the first episode, and once I did, I needed to know what happened next! If you replaced the vampire/supernatural issues with something else, it would still probably be a great show. It's visually impressive, to say the least. As are these images from the latest issue of Rolling Stone, which is on stands now.

sunshine hangover

Lollapalooza has come and gone...and I had a blaaast. We heard some amazing bands, discovered some new ones, witnessed Miss Lady Gaga dive into the crowd at the BMI stage, got one of the best series of sunburns ever, ate some delicious food, and got to lounge around the park for three days. The sister and I are already planning our return next summer. Here's some photos I took! Anyone else go?? Who'd you see??
