Mercedes-Benz Spring Fashion Week is upon us once again. Spring Fashion Week is always my favorite. It could be because I hate winter, and would love to just bypass that season all together, but I absolutely love pouring over the new looks and colors that will be hitting the stores next spring. I can't wait until I can go purchase these looks [or, lets face it, I'm no millionare, purchase similar styles by slightly less high-fashion places] and assimilate them into my wardrobe. I'm digging the breezy styles, the rock-star looks, unique prints and textures, fun head accessories, fresh make-up, interesting uses of color/color-blocking, the list could go on and on and on...In scouring over Style.com to put together this post, I became o.b.s.e.s.s.e.d with up-and-coming design compnay, William Rast. Designed by Justin Timberlake, and his best friend Trace Ayala, William Rast is a company that features down-home vibes, but still a rock-star attitude. Perfect for the girl-next-door who's a little bit edgy. Featuring amazing jackets, denim, vests, and flirty dresses, the women's line has something for an girl who's an all-American girl at heart, but lives in a sophisticated, fashion forward concrete jungle . The men's line also features slim cut denim, leather jackets, casual and dress shirts, and blazers. Considering Justin Timberlake is one of the best-dresses male celebrities [in my opinion], I expected nothing less from his menswear, and was pleasantly surprised by his womenswear. It's really refreshing to see a "celebrity designer" who's clothes aren't just a gimmicky, over-priced, simply designed, and flashing the "celebrity" all over the label. I'm interested and excited to see future collections and see how this brand grows.
